Radio Controlled Car and Truck engines typically burn a nitro-methane fuel mixture.

Available in pull start or models which require a separate starter box, these miniature powerhouses are capable of propelling nitro rc cars at speeds of 75 mph or more.

Using fuel rather than batteries allows Nitro RC classes to feature races of 30 minutes or an hour in length.

The fuel is quite safe. It is shipped and stored in standard polyurethane bottles but should be kept away from sources of flame or heat.
